When is the last time you took a look at your credit report?  You should make time once per year to review your report for FREE.  Below is the link to the official site to receive your report.  This IS NOT freecreditreport.com which in fact charges you a monthly fee to check your report.   You are entitled to one report per year from each of the three major reporting agencies. Just click this link and it will take you to the only official page authorized by Federal Law.
